The story of Merlins began with our founder, Josh, and his two beloved childhood cats, Socks and Tigger. Unfortunately, both cats faced health issues due to their diet. Tigger suffered from kidney failure-a common issue affecting 30-40% of cats over 10 years old and 81% of cats over 15. Socks, a natural hunter, often avoided her store-bought food, leading to tragic complications from consuming wild prey.
